Information for owners

If you want to arrange physiotherapy treatment for your dog you can either:
•Contact Sarah by phone 07969 770872 or e-mail sarahlight@staffs-vetphysio.co.uk. 

Legally, Sarah will need to contact your vet to get permission before proceeding. This also provides a useful opportunity to discuss any other matters regarding your animal, which he should be aware of. Once this has been done, a mutually convenient date/time can be arranged with you for the initial assessment/treatment.
•Speak with your vet who can then send a referral or speak with Sarah directly by phone. If your vet has had no prior involvement with veterinary physiotherapy.

Insurance: Most insurance companies provide cover for physiotherapy as long as it is carried out by a chartered physiotherapist, with the approval/referral of a veterinary surgeon. In addition, some companies will only cover hydrotherapy costs if a chartered physiotherapist is supervising the sessions.
